An Update on My Life...as of September 4th

As you may know, I am almost finished with my fourth week of my senior year. There are a lot of things going on as we speak and it's really tough to say the least. My schedule is for the most part, really easy, but it's a lot of work. I'm in the process of working on my first piece in third block. It's pretty difficult so far, but it's worth it. On September 15th, I will meet with an admissions representative from the University of Kentucky. On September 22nd, I will meet with an admissions representative from Transylvania University. In October, I will retake the ACT, and also I will take the SAT for the very first time for comparison. What a Busy July!

So I will be completely honest with you and say that this July will probably be a busy month. The following events are definitely taking place. July 2 - Immanuel's Annual 4th of July Firework Show July 5 - Earliest date for AP Score Location Based Access Just in case, use a proxy if you're in Kentucky. But at your own risk. July 7 - AP Scores are available for access for people in Kentucky. Within the next few weeks, I'm taking a tour of Union College.  Quote of the Day:  "When a thing is funny, search it for a hidden truth." ~George Bernard Shaw~

My name is Jessica. I am now eighteen years old, and a junior at Corbin High School. I love to sing and write, which is pretty much already known to everyone at school. 1. Where do you see yourself after high school? After high school, I plan on going to college and majoring in both English education and journalism with a minor in music. 2. Do you prefer big cities or small towns? This is an interesting question. I used to have aspirations into wanting to go into the big city like New York City or Los Angeles when I was younger. Now, I prefer to live in a small town where all it's all peaceful and quiet unlike the big city. Plus, it is much easier to be involved in a community than it is in a big city. A big city has way too many people you might not know versus in a small town w
